What We Believe
We hold to the truths of fundamental Christianity.
THE BIBLE
We believe in the Bible as the fully inspired Word of God. Tim. 3:16
GOD
We believe in the trinity and unity of the Godhead–one God eternally existing in three persons: Matt. 18:19; Deut. 6:4
CHRIST
We believe in the deity, virgin birth, Death burial, resurrection and soon return of Christ. Jn. 1:1; Mt. 1:23; Eph. 5:2; Rev. 1:7
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person and not a mere influence, regenerating sinners, convicting them of sin and leading them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that the holy Spirit indwells the believer enabling him to live a victorious Christian life. (Jn. 14:16; Titus 3:5; Jn. 3:5; I Cor. 3:16; Gal. 5:16)
SIN
We believe in the reality, universality and punishment of sin. Rom. 3:23; Rom. 6:23
We believe in the sin, fall, and total depravity of the race of Adam. Rom. 5:12; Rom. 7:8
SALVATION
We believe that man is saved by grace through faith when he accepts Christ as his personal Savior. Acts 16:31; Eph. 2:8,9
We believe that regeneration or conversion is an act of God by which a new and divine life is made holy. II Cor. 5:17
